Happy Birthday Nate!

After Easter, we decided to take some updated family pictures (before my belly got too poochy but not cute and round like a baby belly yet). So we went to a park and set up the tripod. I figured these 2 were good ones to show off my handsome birthday boy! Happy 31st, Nate!

We're Gonna Have Another Baby!

We are so excited to announce that there will be another baby Breneman this november! I had my 12 week appointment this morning and since they weren't able to hear the heartbeat this early with just the Doppler, we got to have an ultrasound. I was really surprised to see how calm this baby was on the screen considering how difficult it was for us to see Olivia clearly at this point because she was popping all over the place! Maybe I'll be lucky and get a calm one this time to balance out all of Olivia's energy :)

2 more months and we will find out the gender! I really can't believe I already made it to 12 weeks... I know they say time flies with the second one and I'm really starting to get it. With Olivia, I just couldn't wait for her to get here so I counted down almost every single day. This time I feel like I wouldn't mind so much if he takes his time growing, stay in there, give me more time to prepare, etc... I might be majorly regretting saying that in 5 1/2 more months though haha!

You may have noticed I said "he" back there, that's because I'm calling him a boy until proven otherwise. Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part. Nate wants a girl cause he thinks we won't have to buy more stuff that way, silly Nate :)

Anyways, we are very excited and I'll do my best to keep everyone updated on "his" progress!  (Hehe)

Back Online! Mostly Easter Though....

We have been waiting and waiting and we finally have google fiber installed at our house, so we have internet again!!  So to celebrate, I am getting started on my blogging right away. Obviously, everyone is dying to know how our Easter Sunday went.  I will show you!

Olivia's Easter basket. 95% of this basket was curtesy of Olivia's grandma Breneman.  We got her the pudding pouches so she would have a yummy snack too.

She spent about a minute on the basket until she decided her milk was more important just then.

Nate made the most wonderful Easter dinner, he really outdid himself this year!  The rolls are a favorite holiday recipe and are always SO yummy; they are vanilla bean 3 leaf clover sweet rolls in case you're wondering.  Everything was as "from scratch" as you can get (including the apple strawberry lemon jam there next to the rolls). Ok the sprite and dr pepper weren't from scratch, but Nate's friend john brought those so they don't count...

Right before going out to hunt for eggs. She had no idea what was going on but since we were all so excited, she was excited too.

She had been playing with some plastic eggs earlier and she bought the "pop" when she opened them was funny. So when she came to her first egg in the grass she opened it. She was not at all prepared to find marshmallows in it though, the look on her face was priceless!

Egg hunting got pretty slow after that cause we had to wait for her to eat all the marshmallows out of each one before we could move on!

She sure loved it though!

Then she just started running around like the silly little girl she is.

I think she did pretty well for her first Easter egg hunt ever :)
