Halloween Party

Last weekend we were invited to a Halloween party thrown by one of Nate's coworkers.  It was one of those murder mystery kinds where everyone at the party plays a role in the murder story.  Nate was a version of Frankenstein that writes plays and is very into the ballet scene.  I played an eccentric fortune teller that used my gifts to commune with the dead and carried around my "crystal ball" for on the spot fortune telling.

Here's a shot of everyone there.  (From left to right: King of the underworld aka the Devil, Evil Dentist, Fiancé of the guy who got Murdered, Cannibal/Ladies' Man, Wicked witch of the West, Mummy, The Monster (Nate), Madame Garlique (Me)

Us at intermission

They had creepy halloween themed deserts.  We had a lot of fun with the cake eye balls

Nate was daring enough to try the jello worms.  They also had graham cracker band aids and monster apple jaws that we didn't get pictures of

  2. Sounds like such a fun party. Nate was really rockin' that tutu! Who did the make-up? It looks really great. This makes me want to do something fun and Halloweenish. Oh, PS--Sarah, you are the cutest little pregnant fortune teller I ever did see!
